Ok, so, if there was a contest for stubborness, hardheadedness, “strong willed-ness” (you fill in the blank), I think my daughter would take 1st.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 She had the most embarrassing display on our flight this afternoon back from WA, all because she wouldn’t get her shoes on and didn’t want me to get off the plane.\u00c2\u00a0 Another outburst was also this evening when she wouldn’t wash her hands.\u00c2\u00a0 I keep thinking that she is going to tame this side of her personality to make my life a little easier, but I think I’ve just gotta get used to it.\u00c2\u00a0 I feel like timeouts are just power struggles.\u00c2\u00a0 Any advice on raising a child like this?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
