We had a nice Easter. On Sunday we invited all our Provo siblings for dinner–thanks Paula for getting us a ham! This year we didn’t want to deprive Kimi of her hunt, so we had a little Easter Egg hunt for her on Saturday afternoon in our spacious backyard. Afterward she was going crazy with the candy, so Mike took them away, which of course devastated her, “My eggs! My eggs!” So he emptied them out and gave her back her eggs in her bag and she was happy! She hasn’t asked for her candy since then! She has been carrying around her empty eggs around the house wherever she goes.
Thats awesome. I don’t look forward to the day when Shannon won’t let me steal her candy anymore. Now she totally doesn’t mind when I take it, but I think this might not last very long.
